real-PCB
2.0 can automatically generate PCB designs from circuit diagrams
produced in Crocodile Technology 606 or later.
Once
you have completed your circuit diagram in a Crocodile Technology
PCB space, click on the 'Export to real-PCB' button on the PCB
space toolbar. This will start the conversion process.
The conversion process will then
guide you through all the steps required to turn your circuit
diagram into a PCB layout.
The Quick option will run the conversion
with the default settings. The Custom option will allow you to
customise these settings, with choices relating to board size,
auto-placing, auto-routing and copper areas.
With either of these options, when
the conversion process is finished, your PCB design will then
be automatically generated and displayed in Crocodile Technology
according to the options you have chosen.
The Manual conversion option is
for advanced users and is similar to using real-PCB as a standalone
application.
